I started throwing in [2015] after a trip to [South Korea] where I spent a week watching potters in [Icheon] work in the goryeo style. I came home and couldn't stop thinking about the moon vase form — that full, quiet belly — and about what it would look like in pink. The sprinkles came later, from a habit of flicking leftover glaze at test tiles. Now they're the whole point. Every vase on this site I made myself, in a [one-person studio in Asheville, NC].
